Concept design and development application for an attached dual occupancy vertically providing two separate residences with associated gardens and basement car parking.

The design implements a contemporary coastal architectural aesthetic that also reflects the eclectic mix of styles in the surrounding neighbourhood. Environmental sustainability is enhanced by presenting a favourable solar orientation and addressing the prevalent sea breezes to allow cross ventilation. The facade is articulated using stepped balconies, screens and variations in materials. The materials are robust and appropriate to the maritime environment. 

 

PAADesign obtained approval for the development. Services also included planning and the landscape design.
